The Power Electronics Group leads in designing and developing high-capacity UPS systems and battery chargers for critical industries, including nuclear power. The Security and Surveillance Group provides turnkey solutions for IP-based CCTV, access control, and threat detection systems. The Special Products Group supplies indigenously manufactured military-grade equipment for Indian Naval ships and submarines.

Power Electronics Group is a divisions engaged in Design,manufacture, testing,supply,installation and commissioning of Power Electronic Products, such as UPS System, battery chargers, Voltage stabilizers, Distribution boards, since 1973. Keltron, Power Electronics Group is first inthe Country to design and develop 500 KVA & 600 KVA UPS System qualifying Seismic, EMI-EMCparameters for NPCIL at KAIGA, MAPS & RAPS. We have already completed more than 100installations of high capacity UPS System and Battery Charges for C & I Systems, other critical loads forNuclear Thermal, Petroleum and State Electricity Boards & Process Industries projects.
KELTRON Security and surveillance Group (SSG) provides innovative and powerful solutions that protect the people and property. We provide specialized turnkey solutions in the areas of IP based CCTV surveillance, Enterprise Access Control Systems, Biometric Attendance Management Solutions, Various threat detection systems, RFID based automation systems and many other customized solutions for the Government and Private Sector. We analyze, Integrate, deliver and support most mission-critical applications to meet the stringent requirements of the customers.
"Special Products Group" in Keltron Equipment Complex, Karakulam, have been manufacturing and supplying a wide range of Indigenous products, for Indian Naval Ships and submarines, since the 1990s. These Equipment are fitted onboard Indian Naval ships and submarines and are fully indigenously manufactured 'Military grade' products, subjected to stringent Quality and performance scrutiny, prior supply.
This indigenous availability of products results in huge foreign exchange saving for the country, which otherwise was getting imported at much higher cost. The Equipment and systems have been manufactured either with the technology developed in-house or with the technology adapted from NPOL or from various other research organizations like CDAC.
Keltron have obtained Industrial Licence issued by the Government of India to manufacture Defence products such as Sonar systems, Combat systems, Command & control systems and Navigational Equipment.
KELTRON has proudly partnered ISRO right from the early SLV/ASLV missions, the successful PSLV and GSLV Launch Vehicles, and the historic CHANDRAYAN Missions up to the present time through the development of the heavy GSLV Mark 111 to launch the 4tonne satellites into the geostationary transfer orbits.
KELTRON’S contribution is present in all the critical sub-assemblies and their testing which includes Launch Vehicle Navigation and Guidance Computers, Stage Processing Modules, Control Electronics Modules, Inertial Sencing Unit’s Power Modules.DC-DC converters,Resin electronic module,to mention a few .The participation extents to the family of ISRO satellites as well.
