     Keltron Communication Complex started functioning at Monvila Industrial Estate in the year 1987 for the manufacture of Switching Equipments for BSNL based on C-DOT technology. The unit follows a well established quality system as per the norms of Dept of Telecommunications right from its inception in 1987. Necessary modifications in the quality system to suit ISRO requirements are also incorporated subsequently. In 1997, the unit was awarded ISO 9002 certificate by STQC, a certifying agency under Dept of Electronics, Govt. of India. Later on this was revised to ISO 9001:2000.
