KELTRON Traffic Controllers are installed all over India in places ranging from Srinagar to Trivandrum and Gandhinagar to Imphal. KELTRON thus has the largest installation base of road Traffic Signals within the country. Some of the major cities covered by KELTRON system besides Delhi are Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Jaipur, Nagpur, Bangalore, Mangalore, the twin cities of Hyderabad & Secunderabad, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Chennai and Calcutta. In the majority of these cities KELTRON is also doing the annual maintenance of the signals.

     This division has introduced advanced version of Fixed Time Controller with many more features (Model ATMS) and also developed Traffic responsive controller (Vehicle Actuated) using loop detectors for isolated intersections, which are fully automatic and self-optimizing in nature.

     The division also offers LED stacked signal display units, which is a viable solution to the energy crisis in the form of low power consuming, maintenance free traffic signaling systems. We have successfully developed Solar Powered Road Warning Blinker and Signal System. We also offer GPS based controllers by which co-ordination of signals are made easy without inter connecting controllers. Our Digital Count Down Clocks are retrofit to any type of fixed time controllers.

     The division has entered into a Transfer of Technology agreement with CDAC(T) for Area Traffic Control System (ATCS). Area Traffic control is a technique to co-ordinate a number of traffic signal installations in an area using Traffic responsive controllers. ATC provides centralized control of numerous signal installations distributed over an area, such that there is an online real time based co-ordination.
